Going back to work after a holiday in the past vs. going back to work after a holiday now 👀


In the past:


🔻 Wishing my holiday had been longer: I liked my job, but I needed more time to recharge 😬.

🔻 Hesitating to open my work phone on Sunday evening: I wanted to check my commitments for the coming week but dreaded seeing all the other notifications 🤔.

🔻 Opening said phone and going straight to my calendar: Trying, but failing, to ignore the hundreds of emails pouring in 🫣.

🔻 Anxiety levels: sky-high 😧.

🔻 Monday afternoon: Already overwhelmed with my to-do list 🤯.

🔻 Tuesday: The holiday feels like a distant memory 😞.


Vs. now…

🟢 100% happy with my life, even after the holiday is over 😍.
