When I speak to expats in my discovery calls, many liken their journey to boarding a high-speed train in life 🚅
It doesn’t surprise me they say that - my coachees are fast-paced, forward-looking, and always in movement too.
Their ambition and sense of adventure have led them to say yes to countless exciting opportunities - boarding that train! - but after a while, they start to wonder:
“I’ve been enjoying the adrenaline of the pace and the view, but where is this train even going?!”
And they begin to realize they’ve merely been passengers.
Their openness to opportunities has shaped an exciting life that looks great on the outside, but when they pause, they find a somewhat fragmented existence, scattered across the globe.
They start questioning whether this is truly what they want, or if it’s simply a result of their habit of saying yes.
They yearn to take back the driver’s seat, making intentional choices that lead to a fulfilling life they genuinely feel happy in.
Preferably still on a high-speed train, because they love the ride, but only after making a stop to change drivers.
